Lady Gaga’s stilettos were censored during her mentoring stint on Wednesday’s American Idol, Her phallic Lucite heels could have something to do with that.
The too-hot-for-TV shafts were crafted by London fashion brand Void of Course and reportedly cost $4,500. Too bad they never saw the light of day after they were spotted by Idol producers! A.I. bosses superimposed an Idol logo over the sexually-explicit stilettos after discovering that the heels mimicked the shape of a certain part of the male anatomy.
"Saw @ladygaga pieces & never quite heard advice like hers before,” Idol host Ryan Seacrest Tweeted.
“Judging from looks on contestants’ faces, neither have they.”
Lady Gaga recently spoke with V Magazine about what inspires her curious fashion choices.
“I’m mostly inspired by shapes, and using the body to create iconography,” she says. “Leather culture and high-street punk fashion. I would say perfecto jackets occupy most of my fashion thoughts.”
