Has Lindsay Lohan had a change of heart? The troubled starlet will plead no contest to the theft charges she faces in the ongoing case of the allegedly stolen necklace.
Apparently the actress' lawyer will take the no contest plea to the judge next week, ahead of LiLo's pre-trial. Sources say the starlet wants to get on with her life and has accepted responsibility for her actions -- as she told Jay Leno on his show last week.
In fact, she's already started doing community service! Lindsay was given 480 hours of service, along with 120 days in jail, for violating her probation, and she's supposedly aiming to get a head start.
LiLo's lawyer Shawn Holley has already appealed the jail sentence, and the ultimate decision will be passed down in the next few weeks. But, even if it sticks, word has it the actress would only have to serve about 3 weeks in jail -- instead of 4 months. Apparently Lindsay's camp is not expecting the judge to add on any time for the misdemeanor theft charge, so once she serves this sentence she'll be free and clear.
