World Leader Talks About Osama's Death

World leaders expressed relief over the killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, though their praise was tempered by fears of the international terrorist group's retaliation.

"Retribution inevitably reaches all terrorists," noted Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

Before saying that Russia was "ready" to step up its cooperation with the U.S.in the fight against international terror networks.

"Only a joint and united fight against global terrorism can achieve substantial results. Russia is ready to step up this type of cooperation," he said.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy, British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel echoed those sentiments. Meanwhile, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh condemned the killing.

"We regard this as a continuation of the American policy based on oppression and the shedding of Muslim and Arab blood," he was quoted by Reuters as saying.

Tamu Terakhir Oprah

Akhirnya The Oprah Show mengumukan siapa yang akan menjadi tamu terakhir Oprah dalam acara yang akan segera berakhir ini.

Siapa tamunya? Presiden Barack Obama!

Dipastikan, sang Presiden AS dan istrinya, Michelle Obama akan hadir dalam episode terakhir ini pada 27 April mendatang. Dan akan akan disiarkan pada 2 Mei nanti.

Kehadiran Obama ini akan jadi kali pertama dirinya datang sebagai seorang presiden. Sebelumnya, Obama pernah menjadi tamu pada tahun 2005 dan 2006 ketika dirinya masih menjadi senator. Sang istri, Michelle baru-baru ini sempat menjadi tamu Oprah.

Episode penutup ini diperkikan akan menarik banyak pemirsa di seluruh dunia. Oleh karena ini, banyak perusahaan yang berlomba-lomba memasang iklan dalam siaran kali ini. Untuk 30 detik pemutaran iklan, kabarnya sebuah perusahaan harus membayar 1 juta dolar.
